I have been in Girl Scouts since I was in 1st grade! We’ve had many fun experiences, worked on many projects, and have bonded with each other and our community! I recently finished my Silver Award! My Silver Award project was the Middlesex Pet Pantry, and my work in it was was recognized by my high school! During this pandemic, I noticed that a lot of families were having to surrender their pets to animal shelters because they didn’t have the means to afford them. So, I decided to set up a pet pantry system in my town that was stocked with dog and cat food as well as kitty litter so that anyone who needed those supplies could find self service at the pet pantry!
